Food Allergies and Depression
Everyone knows the symptoms of depression- low mood, lack of motivation and a felling of helplessness. Many people experience these as a fleeting reaction to the life's trails and tribulations.

Depression is diagnosed on the basis of its symptoms. Its symptoms includes many questions about mood, feelings of guilty, all the time suicidal thoughts come to mind, insomnia, agitation, anxiety, physical problems and problems in sex drive.
Food and depression
A report concludes that there is a relation between nutrition and mental health. Many dieticians say that changes in the way in which food is produced have reduced the amounts of essential fats, vitamins and minerals consumed and it have altered the balance of nutrients in foods.
In some cases, the use of pesticides and way of dieting of the animals has altered their body's fat composition. It means that the population's intake of omega-3 has declined but omega-6 increased.
Some food items are considered to the important tools hat can help to fight against depression but some food items if consumed in large amount can cause depression. Some of the foods those are low in cholesterol, in sugars and fat but at the same time being high in protein. This combination can be harmful as it leads to low production of serotonin, which is the happy-maker', and in turn makes you feel depressed.
List of foods that can make you depressed are apple, coconut, cheddar cheese, Brazilian nuts, goose, lentil, lobster, canned green peas, sweet corn and yogurt etc. there is a no margin of safety with metal toxicity, even the small amount of toxic metals can build up in soft tissues and bones.
Some allergies can trigger depression. Dog and cat hair, pollen and other common allergy causing items can cause bouts of depression. Inadequate blood levels of zinc can also cause depression. So, you should take a look to your food items before adding it to your diet chart.
